This Produce Safety Educational Course covers good agricultural practices, or 'GAPs', which help reduce the risk of on-farm produce contamination and includes the following topics:
- Food Safety Modernization Act Overview
- Worker Training, Health and Hygiene
- Manure and Compost Handling
- Domestic and Wild Animals
- Recordkeeping
- Pre-Harvest and Post-Harvest Water Quality
The deadline to register is Monday, February 20, 2017. The cost is $20.00 per person. Registration can be done via the following methods:
