Plans are underway for the 2022 Master Gardener Volunteer Class. While we hope to offer classes in person, we will be closely monitoring the situation and may have to do a hybrid model and/or online training with small group labs. Classes will begin on Tuesday, February 1 and run through Tuesday, March 29. Class times are 9 am - 4 pm each Tuesday. Applications should be completed online or a hard copy completed and returned by Friday, January 21, 2022. 

The new year is just around the corner and 2022 will be here before you know it! We are excited that the Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Training class will not be far behind. Classes are scheduled to begin Tuesday, February 1, from 9 am - 4 pm and run for 9 consecutive week. Classes will be held at the Toledo Metroparks, Toledo Botanical Garden's Conference Center, 5403 Elmer Drive, Toledo, Ohio. 

There are two upcoming informational meetings that will be held online on Thursday, January 13 from 6 - 7 pm, and Friday, January 14 from 12 - 1 pm.

Those interested in participating in the 2022 class will be asked to complete an application online, which includes the first step of creating an account in our Hands On Connect Volunteer System. Information about the program and a link to the account and application process can be found at Ohio MGV Website   

If you aren't able to complete the application online, and would prefer a hard copy, please let the office know.
