The following Lucas County Youth won top awards during the 2015 Ohio State Fair held July 29th through August 9th at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair Grounds in Columbus Ohio. Prior to competing at the Ohio State Fair the contestants were chosen after placing at the Lucas County Fair which was held July 14-19 at the Lucas County Fairgrounds in Maumee Ohio.

Diana Weimer- Grand Champion overall in the Open Barrow Swine Show; Champion in her division for the Swine Open Show; Champion in her division for the Junior Barrow Swine Show; 1st place in class 45 of the Barrow Swine Open Show; 1st place in class 64 of the Junior Barrow Swine Show; 3rd place in class 79 of the Junior Barrow Swine Show; Champion in class 7 of the Intermediate Swine Showmanship Contest.

Nathan Barney- Reserve Grand Champion Gilt in the Open Hampshire Swine Show; 1st place in class 3 of the Open Hampshire Swine Show; 2nd place in class 54 of the Junior Barrow Swine Show; 2nd place in class 2 of the Junior Duroc Swine Show; 3rd place in class 16 of the Junior Barrow Swine Show.

Nolan Barney- 1st place in class 3 of the Open Yorkshire Swine Show; 2nd place in class 7 of the Open Barrow Swine Show; 2nd place in class 72 of the Junior Barrow Swine Show; Champion in class 13 of the Intermediate Swine Showmanship Contest.

Megan Perry- 2nd place in class 39 of the Junior Barrow Swine Show; 2nd place in class 69 of the Junior Barrow Show; 3rd place in class 75 of the Junior Barrow Swine Show.

Kathryn Barney- 2nd place in class 42 of the Open Barrow Swine Show; 3rd place in class 4 of the Open Yorkshire Swine Show.

Lindsey Overmyer- 3rd place in class 10 of the Open Market Lamb Show
