    All Lucas County 4-H members who are taking a livestock project must participate every year in a Quality Assurance Program. 

  6. GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) Training

    Feb. 26, 2015 1:00pm to 4:00pm

    On Thursday, February 26, 2015, from 1-4:00 p.m., the OSU Fruit and Vegetable Safety Team will be in Northwest Ohio training produce growers and workers on good agricultural practices and food safety for the produce farm, greenhouse, and backyard gardener.  The ½ day workshop focuses on preventing microbial contamination of fruit and vegetables.

  10. Vice President's Summit: Conversations on the Future of Extension

    Celebrating the significant accomplishments and deep impact that OSU Extension has had on communities and in the lives of Ohioans provides a great springboard for the future. A significant component of Ohio’s celebration in 2014 will be a year-long process focused on our future. The primary work this year will center on futuring – asking questions about and envisioning the long-term future of OSU Extension as well as the role the organization should play in shaping and positively impacting Ohio and Ohio residents.
