  3. Healthy and Frugal Food

    The Toledo Lucas Public Library is hosting classes and information tables all at the Main Library to help people stretch their dollar (all day on Saturday April 29, 2017) Look for topics such as salary negotiations, young adults moving out from their parents' home, best financial apps, couponing, researching stocks, selling on Ebay ..... and more! OSU Extension, Lucas County Family and Consumer Sciences will be presenting from 3-4pm on Healthy Food, Frugal Food. Join us for a food demonstration and make your plans for economical, tasty meals at home.

  9. Revised Worker Protection Standard Workshop

    Is your business compliant with revised worker protection standards? The Federal Worker Protection Standards (WPS) protects agricultural workers and pesticide handlers by reducing their risk from pesticide exposure. WPS was revised in 2015, and phased-in compliance begins January 2, 2017. These FREE workshop will provide employers and managers what they need to bring their WPS Program in compliance with the new requirements, including changes in training, restrictions during applications, personal protective equipment, decontamination supplies, record keeping and more.

  10. Northwest Ohio Woodland Workshop

    Mar. 14, 2017 9:00am to 4:00pm

    This workshop is for woodland owners wanting to explore a broad range of topics that concern the woodlands they own. Learn about the importance of tree diversity, test your tree id skills and learn about the good and the bad when it comes to wildlife. Sessions will be indoors and out with hands on for some topics. Class Fee: $35 Class includes indoor and outdoor sessions - dress appropriately. Lunch and materials are included in the class fee.
