Prescription medications can help us live longer and healthier lives, but any medication has the potential to do harm – especially when misused. During this training: Learn how to utilize the FREE educational tools on the Generation RX website to help you teach about safe medication practices. Who Should Attend? Anyone can use the tool kit to present the educational materials to children, teens, college students, adults, seniors, patients, and the workplace.

    Did you know that nearly 1 in 5 Lucas County residents struggle with food insecurity? You can help! Do you, your neighbors, or your faith-based commuity have an interest in gardening? Consider starting a community garden or growing extra produce for donation to local food banks and food pantries.  Details About the Workshop: This workshop will provide you with information and skills to begin a community garden.     Monthly walks at Toledo Botanical Garden will highlight plants throughout the garden, specifically focused on seasonal interests - flowers, fruit, bark and more. See what's happening in the Garden, and take those ideas home for your own landscape.
