This Produce Safety Educational Course covers good agricultural practices, or 'GAPs', which help reduce the risk of on-farm produce contamination and includes the following topics:

  • Food Safety Modernization Act Overview
  • Worker Training, Health and Hygiene
  • Manure and Compost Handling
  • Domestic and Wild Animals
  • Recordkeeping
  • Pre-Harvest and Post-Harvest Water Quality

The deadline to register is Monday, February 20, 2017.  The cost is $20.00 per person.  Registration can be done via the following methods:
