Spotted Lanternfly (SLF) is an invasive pest that feeds on a large variety of plant species, including those in the agricultural, timber, and ornamental industries, and backyard plants. Gardeners everywhere are reporting more sightings than ever before and we get calls every day asking "where do these bugs come from and how do I deal with them!?"
The Big Squish will answer those questions while helping a local community garden. After a quick training about SLF, their preferred host plants and the best squishing techniques, Big Squish volunteers will help the gardening staff in the Sofia Quintero gardens find and eliminate the SLF feeding on their crops.

Yep, we're squishin' bugs! Come join us!
The idea of the 'Big Squish' came from the Cleveland Metroparks which will also be squishing SLF in Cleveland on the same day at three of their Metropark locations.
