Join us for a home canning class on waterbath canning. Patrice Powers-Barker, OSU Extension Educator, Family and Consumer Sciences will demonstrate canning 3 pint jars of salsa. The class will address:
- Basic food safety principles
- Why a water bath canner is a safe method for canning salsa
- Accessing resources from the USDA, OSU Extension, and other research-based home food preservation sources
